This nostalgic accessory is stiffened with a commercial acrylic fabric stiffener and has some silver metallic thread worked into it.
It will make a lovely winter holiday ornament, Christmas tree decoration, stocking stuffer or winter wonderland bridal accessory. My grandmother used to make these, maybe yours did too. They bring back lots of warm memories for me, and I am sure they will for you as well.
String several up into a garland.
